MIDDLESEX MAGIC 17U ready for intense Summer Slate!

The Middlesex Magic 17U team is preparing for a highly competitive and intense slate of summer basketball. The Magic's schedule begins at the Basketbull Hall of Fame tournament in Springfield, MA on Sunday July 11th and Monday July 12th. This tournament features one of the strongest and deepest fields of all tournaments nation wide, and the Magic will be returning to this tournament after a great showing last year. The Magic were invited to play in the "Super 16" tournament on Tuesday, July 13th at Quinnipiac College. This tournament features 16 of the best teams in the country facing off in random game play and the Magic will play two games on Tuesday against high level National Competition!The Magic will then turn their sights to the center of the AAU Summer Circuit for Boy's basketball, as they head down to Orlando, Fl for the Super Showcase and the Division 1 Nationals! The Middlesex Magic 17U team has enjoyed a very successful spring campaign thus far winning the Middlesex Magic First Shot tournament, the New England Super Regional, the Rhode Island Hawks May Madness tournament, placing in the top 8 at the Albany Gymrat, and playing strong at the Rumble in the Bronx. The Magic were invited to the prestigious Showcase tournament in Orlando that precedes the Nationals. The team will be in Florida for the Showcase from July 23rd and will remain in Orlando for the Division 1 Nationals which begin the 26th. The Magic return a host of players from the 16U team which placed 2nd in the Classic bracket of the tournament just a year ago! Led by Captain, Pat Connaughton, Center Pat Ackerman, and Guards Anthony Barry and Bryan Hurley, the Magic are poised and ready for a highly competitive and enjoyable summer of basketball as they represent the Northeast across the country!
