Coach Crotty on Chronicle

Michael Crotty Jr., the Director of the Middlesex Magic, was interviewed by Chronicle on June 17th, 2010, before game seven of the 2010 NBA Finals between the Boston Celtics and the Los Angeles Lakers. Crotty, the Director of Player Development for the Boston Celtics from when the won their 17th World Championship in 2008, spoke with Chronicle about the mechanics and mentality behind shooting a basketball. More specifically, the discussion covered the shooting of a an all-time great like Ray Allen, and the free throw shooting of Rajon Rondo. Crotty’s experience as an All-American at Williams College, a Professional basketball player overseas, a coach for the Boston Celtics from 2005-2008, as well as Head Coach and Director of the Middlesex Magic has provided him a wealth of experience as a player and a coach upon which he draws his conclusions.
